My name is Emily and these days I mostly hail from my kitchen in the Pacific Northwest, the land of coffee, books, and rain. I live with my husband and three children in a 100-year-old house in the greater Seattle area.

I'm an evangelical Christian and attend a Reformed Baptist Church, where I was raised and met my husband.

I'm an introvert, a list-maker, a baby lover, a writer, a shopaholic, and a people watcher.

When given the time I enjoy making stabs at writing YA fiction. I think we really need more wholesome Christian literature out there for teenagers. I also dabble a bit in damsels and dragons now and again.

I have a lot of opinions that shouldn't be taken too seriously. ;-)
